Mom

Mama told me today,

backache has been bugging her for two months.

It was the first time in my life,

I felt sorry, that

I'm not by her side.

To some extent, I was never by her side.

Boarding school started in kingergarden,

Living abroad started when I was 14,

I thought, that

Travelling was life.

I packed my own luggages,

ever since I had memories of traveling.

Though mom still likes to warn me til today,

about packing this and that.

She often says with a smile:

Kids will always be kids in moms eyes,

They don't grow up,

no matter the age.

I wonder if she knows,

The same fantasy applies to kids:

Moms will ways be moms.

She doesn't grow old.

She should be bulletproof.
